Tbilisi

Tbilisi is the capital and the largest city of Georgia, as well as the main educational and cultural center. The largest and the most famous universities of Georgia, including The University of Georgia, are located here.

Tbilisi was founded in the 5th century. Historically, it has been home to people of multiple cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, which is reflected in its unique artistic and architectural integrity. Tbilisi’s architecture is a mixture of Georgian and Byzantine, Neoclassical, Art Nouveau, Beaux-Arts, Middle Eastern, and Soviet modern styles.

 Many notable touristic destinations include a lot of museums, galleries, religious centers, such as : cathedrals Sameba and Sioni, Freedom Square, Rustaveli Avenue and Agmashenebeli Avenue, medieval Narikala Fortress, the Opera Theater, and the Georgian National Museum.
